BR2 HORIZONTAL MOVEMENT - Cutting Instructions for the BR2 Horizontal Sliding Articulated Screening with Wheels for 4.8 m Rails

  • CUTTING
  • The maximum width in which we may use a horizontal single-shutter screen is 150 cm.
  • The maximum width for the double-shutter horizontal screening is up to 300 cm.

  • SINGLE-SHUTTER HORIZONTAL SCREENING
  • A. We measure the height of the door and subtract 13 mm from the total height.
  • For example: if the height of the door is 2200 mm we cut the roll at a length of 2200-13=2187mm.
  • B. Prior to the cutting, we push the screen roll a little bit, so that it stands at a distance of approximately 2 mm from the surface of the profile.
Then we push the profile of the handle carrying the screen 60 mm, so that it may be cut smaller for the appropriate plastic accessories to be fitted.
  • C. We cut the counter-face of the horizontal screening 2 mm shorter than the total height.
  • D. (1) Without the addition of aluminium on the counter-face.

We measure the width of the door and we subtract 70 mm out of the total width, in order to calculate the cutting length of the guides.

For example: if the width of the door is 2100 mm we cut the guides at a length of 2100-70=2030 mm.
  • (2) With the addition of aluminium on the counter-face.
We measure the width of the door and we subtract 11 0 mm out of the total width, in order to calculate the cutting length of the guides.
For example: if the width of the door is 2100 mm we cut the guides at a length of 2100-110=1990 mm.

  • TWO-SHUTTER HORIZONTAL SCREENING
  • A. We measure the height of the door and subtract 13 mm from the total height.
For example: if the height of the door is 2200mm we cut the roll at a length of 2200-13=2187mm.
  • C. We cut the fastener profile of the horizontal screen at the exact size of the total height.
  • D. We measure the width of the door and subtract 90 mm from the total width in order to calculate the cutting length of the guides.
For example: if the width of the door is 2100 mm we cut the guides at a length of 2100-90=2010 mm.

  • SPRING ADJUSTMENT
  • A. We place the spring on the roll, in such a way that its cap fits the edge of the roll perfectly.
  • B. We adjust the spring, turning it to the side in which the roll wound, as follows:
Door Height Spring Turns
180 cm 6
200 cm 8
220 cm 9
240 cm 11
